Microblading, or feathering, is a technique where hair strokes are created by manually etching pigment into the skin.
It’s performed by hand with a manual tool and has a softer finish.
Because the pigment is deposited more superficially, it may require more frequent touch ups and is not as suitable for oily skin.
Microshading, or powder and ombre brows, are suitable for all skin types. A digital device is used, creating a more solid and defined look.
Therefore touch-ups are required less often than with microblading.
Like microblading, this technique also creates hair-like strokes, except that it uses a digital machine instead.
This style uses different techniques to create the effect that you want. For example, by combining hair-strokes and shading to create a more defined and contoured look. It can also be called combination brows.
Brow lamination is a perming treatment that corrects the brow shape by setting the hairs in place. Because it doesn’t penetrate the skin, it lasts between 6-8 weeks.
